Seat of the Pants is a wide-ranging collection of original music featuring Lenny Carlson on guitar, assisted by a stellar group including drummer Eddie Marshall, pianist Rebeca Mauleon, jazz bassist Bill Douglass, classical bassist Barry Green and Hal Richards on reeds and winds. There are mainstream and latin jazz tunes, solo piano rags and choral works, colorful arrangements and lots of inspired improvisation.
